If you still feel unsure after reading, you can always use the application form and share your details. Laura will tell you honestly if this course is the right level of support for you.
In many cases, yes—as long as you don’t have red flag symptoms (like loss of bowel/bladder control, severe unexplained weakness, or recent major trauma). Avant Therapy is here to help specifically for active adults who are still training (or want to return to training) while dealing with recurring low back pain or stiffness. If you’re unsure, apply and share your details—Laura will let you know if you need in-person assessment first.
No. Avant Therapy is delivered online, so you can join from anywhere. If you’re local to Sugar Land, you can choose to combine the course with in-person sessions at Avant Therapy. If you’re out of state, we can discuss whether virtual 1:1 sessions are available where you live.
You’ll get both structured modules and clear decision frameworks to customize to your training. The course includes templates and branching options based on your symptoms, so you’re never just following a random list of exercises. If you want direct 1:1 input, we can add individualized sessions on top of the course.
Timelines vary, but many active adults start to feel more confident and less fearful within the first few weeks as they learn how to interpret symptoms and adjust training intelligently. Back pain often improves over 6–12 weeks with consistent, progressive loading, but your exact path depends on your history, training, and other factors.
This is educational and coaching-based and is not a substitute for a full medical evaluation. For many active adults without red flag symptoms, it can be an excellent starting point—or a powerful companion—to in-person or virtual PT. If Laura believes you need dedicated 1:1 care instead of (or before) the course, she will let you know.
